Lyndonville store robbed, police seek information

LYNDONVILLE — An unknown woman robbed a Dollar General store on July 16, escaping with an undisclosed sum of money, Vermont State Police said.

Authorities received a call about the incident at approximately 9:37 p.m.

According to the initial investigation, the woman entered the store, threatened the employees with implied force, and demanded money from the register.

No injuries were reported following the robbery.

State police are seeking assistance in identifying the suspect, with images from the store’s surveillance system released to aid the public.

Investigators at the Vermont State Police St Johnsbury Barracks are encouraging anyone with information about the robbery or the suspect’s identity to come forward.
