FRAMINGHAM — Members of the MetroWest Drug Task Force, including officers from the Ashland Police Department, executed a search warrant in Framingham yesterday, resulting in the arrest of two individuals on drug trafficking charges.
The operation concluded a two-month investigation by the task force.
The suspects, whose names have not been released, are facing charges of trafficking in Class A and B substances, marking it as a second and subsequent offense.
Authorities reported the seizure of over 185 grams of cocaine, over 15 grams of fentanyl, and approximately $8,000 in U.S. currency.
The two individuals arrested are currently being held and are expected to face arraignment.
