BOSTON — The Boston Police Department issued a Missing Person Alert on Wednesday, asking for the public’s assistance in locating 54-year-old Hoai Nguyen from Dorchester.
Nguyen was last seen around 11 a.m. on July 17 in the vicinity of 14 Porter Street in East Boston.
He was wearing a blue striped button-up shirt, a gray sweater, jeans, and black and white sneakers at the time of his disappearance.
Described as an Asian male, about 5’10” with a slim build, Nguyen’s last known address is on Romsey Street in Dorchester.
According to the authorities, Nguyen suffers from mental health issues.
He was observed walking towards Meridian Street and is known to have used the train system previously.
The Boston Police Department urges anyone with information about Nguyen’s whereabouts to contact 911 or Area A-7 Detectives at 617-343-4234.
