WHITMAN — The Whitman Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing man who was last seen leaving a group home on Park Avenue around 7 p.m. on Monday.

Max Callaghan, 38, is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing approximately 225 pounds.

He was last seen wearing jeans, sandals, and a yellow/gray t-shirt.

According to authorities, Callaghan does not have a phone or money and does not have access to a vehicle.

The police department has expressed concern for Callaghan’s wellbeing due to his diagnosis of schizophrenia, which may leave him disoriented.
