Glastonbury police seek help identifying suspects who fled traffic stop

GLASTONBURY — Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals who fled a traffic stop on July 14, nearly striking an officer in the process.

The Glastonbury Police Department said the suspects were traveling in a white 2013 Hyundai Elantra with a fake Connecticut temporary license plate reading 92F4343.

The incident occurred near Cotton Hollow Preserve on Sunday.

Authorities have released images of the two suspects and are asking anyone who recognizes them to contact the police department at 860-633-8301.

The vehicle fled the scene during a traffic stop, endangering the safety of a police officer.

No injuries were reported.

Law enforcement officials have not provided additional details about the circumstances leading to the initial traffic stop or the suspects’ potential motives for fleeing.

The investigation is ongoing, and police urge anyone with information to come forward.
