BETHEL — A Williamstown man was charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle following a complaint received by Royalton Barracks troopers on July 14.
Thaddeus Whitcomb, 30, was issued a criminal citation after an investigation by state troopers into a motor vehicle complaint that began in the town of Royalton and continued into Bethel.
The incident occurred on Rt 107 at approximately 3:52 p.m.
According to authorities, troopers located the vehicles involved and determined that Whitcomb had operated his vehicle negligently on a public roadway.
Whitcomb was subsequently released without incident following the citation.
