Burlington man cited for disorderly conduct after firing gun from vehicle

GEORGIA — Vermont State Police responded to reports of gunfire from a moving vehicle on Highbridge Rd on July 14 at 12:19 p.m.

Troopers, along with a Franklin County Sheriff Deputy, arrived at the scene and located the vehicle in question.

Their investigation identified the passenger, Eric Robbins, 39, of Burlington, as the individual who discharged a handgun into a cement wall embankment from inside the vehicle.

The handgun involved was confiscated by authorities.

Robbins has been cited to appear in Franklin County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Aug. 20 at 8:30 a.m. to face charges for disorderly conduct.
