Brookline man faces DUI #2 charges after crash on private property

BROOKLINE — A local man was arrested for suspected driving under the influence following a crash on Putney Mountain Road, Vermont State Police reported.

At 6:11 p.m. on July 14, troopers responded to a complaint at the Brookline residence of 60-year-old Randy Clark.

Upon arrival, officers found Clark showing signs of impairment after allegedly crashing his vehicle on private property.

An investigation determined that Clark had been drinking before operating the vehicle on a public highway.

Clark was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI, marking his second offense.

He was processed at the Westminster State Police Barracks and released with a citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on July 30 at 8:30 a.m.
