LEWISTON — Lewiston Police are seeking information about a shooting incident that occurred on Saturday evening at Maple Knoll Apartments.
At 8:18 p.m., officers were called to 253 Blake St. after reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, they discovered multiple shell casings in the parking lot and a discarded firearm.
A parked vehicle and an apartment building were hit by bullets.
Witnesses described a male suspect exiting a vehicle on Blake St. and opening fire at an occupied vehicle in the lot.
Both the shooter and the occupants of the targeted vehicle left the scene before police arrived.
No injuries have been reported, and the identities of the suspect and potential victims are currently unknown.
