Greenwich police investigate armed carjacking, suspects spotted in Yonkers

GREENWICH — Greenwich Police Department is currently investigating a carjacking that occurred near the intersection of Clapboard Ridge Road and Kakum Woods today at around 10 a.m. According to authorities, a firearm was brandished during the incident, but no injuries have been reported.

The suspects, described as two individuals, fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan, which was later observed in the Yonkers, NY area.

The stolen vehicle is also being sought by law enforcement.

Detectives are on the scene, gathering information and speaking with the victim in an effort to piece together the events that led to the carjacking.
