Multiple arrests made by Rhode Island State Police for DUI, receiving stolen goods, and conspiracy

EXETER — At 4:58 p.m., Rhode Island State Troopers arrested John Driscoll III, 64, of Chelsea, Massachusetts, for driving under the influence and refusing a chemical test following a report of an erratic driver on Route 95 South in the Town of Exeter.

Driscoll was taken to State Police – Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

He was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

In a separate incident at 10:38 p.m., State Troopers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 South in the Town of West Greenwich, leading to the arrest of three individuals from Brooklyn, New York.

Shanda Campbell, 37, and Wallace Butler, 41, were each charged with receiving stolen goods, larceny, and conspiracy.

Both were processed at the Hope Valley Barracks, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace, and released pending a future court date in the Third District Court.

Jan Cedeno, 40, was arrested on a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear at a pre-trial conference on the charge of manufacturing/delivery/possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Cedeno was also charged with receiving stolen goods, larceny, and conspiracy.

Following arraignment, Cedeno was transported to the Adult Correctional Institute – Men’s Intake Center.
