HUDSON — A 31-year-old Franklin man was arrested Monday on multiple assault charges stemming from an investigation that began in March.
Dustin Daigle faces felony charges of second-degree assault with a deadly weapon, second-degree assault by strangulation, and falsifying physical evidence, along with four misdemeanor counts of simple assault, according to the Hudson Police Department.
The Special Investigations Bureau, with assistance from Franklin police, took Daigle into custody without incident.
He was also wanted for failure to appear in both Dover and Nashua district courts.
Daigle was arraigned in Nashua District Court and subsequently released on bail.
The amount of bail was not disclosed.
Authorities did not provide details about the circumstances surrounding the alleged assaults or the nature of the evidence Daigle is accused of falsifying.
The investigation is ongoing, and police have not indicated whether they expect to file additional charges.
