BRISTOL — A month-long investigation by local and federal law enforcement has led to the arrest of a Bristol man on multiple drug-related charges, authorities said Thursday.

Kesean Milward, 26, was taken into custody on July 11 after the Bristol Police Department’s Narcotic Enforcement Team (NET), working alongside the Drug Enforcement Administration’s New Haven District Office, executed a search and seizure warrant at his residence at 149 School Street.

The investigation into Milward began in June, following tips that he was allegedly involved in narcotics sales out of the School Street address.

NET obtained two arrest warrants for Milward for the illegal sale of narcotics and a search warrant for his home.

During the raid, investigators found evidence of illegal narcotics sales and seized an illegal firearm.

Milward is facing charges for possession of narcotics with intent to sell, along with two counts of illegal sale of narcotics.

He has been arraigned at New Britain Superior Court.

The Bristol Police Department extended its gratitude to the Bristol Patrol Division and the DEA for their assistance in the operation, which they described as a success.

NET emphasizes its ongoing commitment to tackling illegal drug use and trafficking within the city.

The department also reminded the public of their anonymous tip line and email system for reporting criminal activity.

Tips can be submitted by calling (860) 585-TIPS (8477) or emailing [email protected].

Detective Sergeant Vllaznim Sadriu of the Bristol Police Department Criminal Investigation Division Narcotics Enforcement Team prepared the report on the arrest and investigation.
