BETHEL — A motorcyclist was airlifted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center following a two-vehicle crash on VT Route 107 near Graham Street on July 10.

Miles P. Fleming, 33, of Springfield, was operating a 2008 Kawasaki KLX450R when he failed to maintain his lane and collided with a 2023 Nissan Rogue driven by Christopher S.

Thompson, 45, of Tucson, Arizona.

The accident occurred at approximately 12:35 p.m. under clear weather conditions, although the roadway was wet.

Troopers from the Royalton Barracks responded to the scene and determined Fleming had committed a traffic violation and was driving negligently.

Fleming sustained suspected severe injuries to his extremities and required immediate airlift by the Dartmouth Hitchcock Advanced Response Team to the medical center in Lebanon, NH.

Thompson, who was wearing a seatbelt, did not report any injuries.

His vehicle sustained moderate damage to the front end.
