Westfield camp theft, police seek information

WESTFIELD — Vermont State Police are investigating a theft and unlawful mischief incident at a local camp on Buck Hill Rd, where a storage container was forcefully entered and several items were stolen.

Brian and Karen Raymond reported the theft to the authorities on July 3 at about 7:30 p.m. after discovering that various power tools had been taken from their storage container.

The incident occurred sometime between June 23 and July 3.

Investigators have not identified any suspects at this time and are seeking assistance from the public.

Anyone with information related to the theft or who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area is urged to contact the Vermont State Police Derby Barracks at 334-8881.
