WEST GARDINER — Maine State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 55-year-old Michael Albert, who was reported missing by his wife Heather Albert on July 8.

According to Heather Albert, her husband was last seen at their home at 28 Arthur Street and has been experiencing a psychotic break for the past four days, displaying symptoms of paranoia and losing touch with reality.

Also missing from the residence is Michael’s red 2015 Toyota Tundra CrewMax, with Maine registration JAWS39.

While his clothing at the time of disappearance is unknown, it is likely he was wearing khaki shorts and a T-shirt.

A 22-caliber rifle is also missing from the home, raising concern for Michael’s well-being.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on Michael Albert’s whereabouts to contact the State Police at 207-624-7076.

The ongoing investigation aims to ensure his safe return and address any medical needs stemming from his reported mental health condition.
