Swanton man reports stolen vehicle, police seek public’s help

SWANTON — A local man’s vehicle was reported stolen from his driveway, prompting an investigation by the Vermont State Police, authorities said Monday.

Rodney Benjamin, 52, of Swanton, reported that his grey 2013 Toyota Corolla, which is missing a portion of its front grille, was taken from his residence on Hog Island Road on July 7 at approximately 3:56 p.m.

The vehicle bears a Vermont license plate with the registration FDB960.

The state police have released a photo of the vehicle provided by the owner and are asking anyone with information to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.

Authorities have not yet identified a suspect, and the investigation is actively continuing.
