ROCKLAND — Around 10:30 p.m. last night, Rockland Police were called to a scene of property damage and theft near Rockland Public Landing.

They discovered Sierra McDonald, 30, offshore in a stolen canoe.

Upon the officers’ arrival, McDonald, who had undressed, boarded a lobster boat and attempted to untie it.

Early this morning, officers found extensive damage in South End, including smashed windows in a building and several vehicles, with damages estimated around $10,000.
