Police seek driver doing burnouts on Brown Road, damage prompts repairs

HARRISVILLE — The Harrisville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a truck driver responsible for damaging Brown Road with burnouts on Sunday afternoon.

According to the department, the reckless driving created ruts in the road, necessitating repair work by the Highway Department.

In an effort to curb such behavior, authorities revealed that trail cameras have been installed at various intersections around town.
