MILFORD — A woman attempted to steal approximately $650 worth of baby items from a local Target store on July 8, but was thwarted by the store’s loss prevention team as she tried to leave the premises.
According to the Milford Police Department, the incident occurred when the unidentified female was stopped by loss prevention officers as she attempted to exit the store with the unpaid merchandise.
The woman did not comply with the officers and fled the scene in a newer model white Chevy Silverado with a rear plate attached.
Authorities are now seeking assistance from the public in identifying the suspect.
