CAMPTON — A local man was arrested on multiple felony charges after a police investigation uncovered theft of utility services and drug possession at a property operating as Slumberland Cabins on US Route 3.

The Campton Police Department executed a search warrant in April, where they found a quantity of cocaine and evidence that electricity, previously disconnected in 2022, had been illegally reconnected to bypass the utility meter.

Following the investigation, police obtained an arrest warrant for Christopher Adams, 50, of Campton.

Adams faces charges for theft of services, possession of a controlled drug, and theft of utility services, all felonies.

He was arrested on July 8 and subsequently released on personal recognizance bail.

Adams is scheduled to appear for arraignment in the Plymouth Court.
