LYNDON — A Lyndon resident was taken into custody on multiple charges following a report of a fight at a local McDonald’s, Vermont State Police said.
Troopers responded at 9:34 p.m. on July 5 to the fast-food restaurant at 10 Broad St., where they observed Linden Ide, 45, attempting to flee the scene.
After a brief pursuit, police apprehended Ide, who was found to have an active arrest warrant.
A search conducted during Ide’s arrest revealed suspected cocaine in his possession, and it was determined that he was also in violation of his Conditions of Release.
Ide was processed at the Vermont State Police Barracks in St. Johnsbury and later transported to the Northeast Correctional Complex with bail set at $500.
He received a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on July 8 to address the warrant and a second citation for the August 26 court date regarding the charges of Violating Conditions of Release and Possession of Cocaine.
