ALBANY — Vermont State Police arrested a 36-year-old Hyde Park man on Thursday, July 5, at 12:05 p.m. for allegedly failing to return a vehicle he was given permission to use briefly.
Wendy Allen, 55, of Albany, reported her maroon 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe with Vermont registration HYG720 was not returned after she allowed Justin Martin to use it on July 2.
The vehicle had been missing for three days when the theft was reported to the Derby Barracks of the Vermont State Police.
Martin is being charged with aggravated operating without consent of the owner.
