Man arrested for DUI after Swanton crash

SWANTON — A St. Albans man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence after a single-vehicle crash on N River Street on July 4.

Troopers from the St. Albans barracks responded to the incident at approximately 1:33 p.m., where they found 40-year-old Casey Corrigan, the operator of the crashed vehicle.

According to authorities, signs of impairment were observed during their interaction with Corrigan.

Corrigan was taken into custody and transported to the St. Albans barracks for processing.

He was later issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court- Criminal Division and was released to a sober adult.

The court date for Corrigan has not been disclosed.

The incident remains under investigation.
