Rockland police seek help locating stolen construction tools

ROCKLAND — A burglary at a local residence under renovation has led to the theft of numerous construction tools, authorities said Tuesday.

The Rockland Police Department reported that an assortment of RIDGID & DEWALT brand tools, including a miter saw, reciprocating saw, various corded and cordless power tools, drills, and a nailer, were stolen from a property on Jefferson Street.

The theft is believed to have occurred between June 23 and June 30.

Detective Jordan Jandreau is leading the investigation into the missing items and is urging the community to come forward with any information.

The police are hopeful that tips from the public will assist in recovering the stolen tools and identifying the perpetrator(s).

Residents and businesses in the area are asked to check any surveillance footage that may have captured suspicious activity during the time frame of the burglary.
