JERICHO — Vermont State Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly stole merchandise from a Dollar General store on Route 15.
The incident occurred around 3:09 p.m. July 2 at the Jericho location.
Store employees reported that a man entered the store, filled a basket with items and left without paying.
Witnesses described the suspect as approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, wearing a black tank top, glasses, a black and grey baseball cap, and dark navy shorts with flip-flops.
A store employee followed the man outside and observed him enter a black, four-door, mid-sized Jeep with the basket of items.
The vehicle, which had no license plates, was reportedly driven by an unidentified woman.
The pair fled the scene heading toward Underhill.
On July 3, police obtained photographs of potential suspects involved in the incident.
Authorities are now asking for public assistance in identifying the two individuals shown in the images.
