Randolph McDonald’s hit by early morning burglary

RANDOLPH — Troopers from the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks responded to a burglary at a local McDonald’s restaurant Monday morning.

The incident occurred at the fast-food establishment located at approximately 7:02 a.m., when an employee noticed a disturbance inside the building and promptly called 911.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered that an individual had forcibly entered the restaurant through the drive-thru window.

A Ronald McDonald’s House Charities donation box was reported missing.

Authorities have released surveillance images of a suspect and a vehicle thought to be involved in the burglary.

The investigation is ongoing, and officials are seeking assistance from the public.
