Bicyclist injured in collision with vehicle in Manchester

MANCHESTER — A bicyclist suffered minor injuries in a collision with a vehicle Thursday afternoon in Manchester, temporarily closing a portion of South Willow Street.

The accident occurred near the intersection of South Willow Street and South Lincoln Street, prompting a response from Manchester Police, Manchester Fire Department, and American Medical Response.

Authorities closed southbound traffic on South Willow Street at South Lincoln Street while emergency crews tended to the scene.

The roadway has since reopened.

Police did not release further details about the individuals involved or the circumstances of the collision.

Officials urged drivers to avoid the area during the initial response but have since lifted the traffic advisory.
