Man arrested for drug possession after traffic stop in Narragansett

NARRAGANSETT — Rhode Island State Troopers arrested a Connecticut man early Sunday morning following a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in Exeter.

Brian Keehan, 47, of Middletown, Connecticut, was taken into custody at 1:36 a.m. on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Possession of Schedule I-V Over 10 Grams, a charge originating out of the Narragansett Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a routine traffic stop conducted by the troopers.

Keehan was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed.

Following the processing, Keehan was turned over to the custody of the Narragansett Police Department.
