Craftsbury Library launches summer programs

CRAFTSBURY — The Craftsbury Public Library is diving into summer with an array of engaging and creative programs designed for children, youth, families, and individuals of all ages.

The library, in partnership with the J.W. Simpson Library, will kick off its summer events with a craft table at the Craftsbury Block Party on July 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. Regular weekly story times are scheduled for Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 a.m., featuring simple stories, songs, and hands-on activities for children from birth to six years old, along with their families and caregivers.

Highlighting the summer schedule, a Drag Queen Story Time will be held on Sunday, July 7, at 11 a.m. Additionally, on Saturday, August 3, at 10 a.m., children and families will have the opportunity to meet a character from the beloved book “Where the Wild Things Are.”

From July 16 to August 6, the library will host a variety of Tuesday programs, including a Crankie picture show, sushi making, T-shirt painting, and a session with the Green Team promoting physical activity.
