ST. JOHNSBURY — A single-vehicle crash on an Interstate 91 off-ramp left one passenger with minor injuries Monday afternoon.

The incident occurred at 3:54 p.m. on the southbound Exit 21 off-ramp in St. Johnsbury.

According to Vermont State Police, Alexander Bosse, 23, of Dalton, New Hampshire, was driving a 2010 Dodge Journey when he lost control of the vehicle.

Passenger Morgan Stuart, 20, of St. Johnsbury, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was partially ejected from the vehicle and sustained multiple minor lacerations.

Stuart was transported to Littleton Regional Hospital for treatment.

Troopers determined that Bosse was driving too fast for the rainy conditions and failed to maintain his lane of travel.

The vehicle sustained front-end damage in the crash.

Vermont State Police, St. Johnsbury Police Department, Vermont Fish and Game, and St. Johnsbury Fire Department responded to the scene.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
