One dead, one injured as car crashes into Dorchester building

BOSTON — Boston Police are investigating a fatal car crash that occurred on Friday, June 28, at approximately 8:34 p.m. in the Dorchester neighborhood.

Officers from District 11 responded to reports of a vehicle collision with a building at 24 Fifield Street.

Upon arrival, they found the passenger, an adult male with a broken leg, who was quickly transported to a local hospital by Boston Emergency Medical Services for treatment.

Tragically, the driver of the vehicle, also an adult male, was discovered non-viable and pronounced dead at the scene.

The Boston Police Department is conducting a thorough review of the incident to determine the circumstances that led to the crash.

Authorities are appealing to the public for any information related to the accident.
