DANVILLE — Vermont State Police arrested a 42-year-old Danville man on suspicion of driving under the influence for the second time following a traffic stop Wednesday evening.
Troopers pulled over Elijah Clark at approximately 8:01 p.m. on June 26 for a motor vehicle violation on Jamieson Road in Danville.
During the stop, officers determined Clark was allegedly driving while impaired by alcohol.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police barracks in St. Johnsbury for processing.
Clark was released with a citation to appear at the Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Aug. 15 at 8:30 a.m. to face charges of DUI, second offense.
The Vermont State Police did not provide additional details about the initial traffic violation or the evidence of impairment.
