Townshend man cited for disorderly conduct after throwing pipe

TOWNSHEND — A Townshend man was cited for disorderly conduct after allegedly throwing a metal pipe at a cyclist on Thursday.

Noah Hearn, 47, was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on July 30 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charge, according to Vermont State Police.

Troopers responded to a report of two males fighting outside a residence near 2093 Vermont Route 30 in Townshend at approximately 7:07 p.m. on June 27, 2024.

An investigation revealed that Hearn had thrown a metal pipe at a passerby on a bicycle, police said.

No further details about the incident or any potential injuries were immediately available.
