Rhode Island state police make multiple arrests

PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island State Police made several arrests over a two-day period, including individuals wanted on warrants and a DUI suspect.

On Thursday at 9:15 a.m., troopers arrested Odalina Colon, 26, of Providence, on an active warrant for passing counterfeit bills and forgery.

The arrest occurred during a traffic stop in Providence.

Colon was processed and turned over to Johnston police.

Later that day at 1:30 p.m., Kyle Delaney, 49, of Glocester, was arrested on a warrant for first-degree child molestation and three counts of second-degree sexual assault.

Troopers took Delaney into custody at the Adult Correctional Institution before transferring him to Glocester police.

Early Friday at 2:03 a.m., troopers arrested Yarineliz Martinez, 29, of Central Falls, for driving under the influence and refusing a chemical test.

The arrest followed a traffic stop on Route 95 in Providence.

Martinez was processed, arraigned, and released to a responsible adult.
