Lyndonville woman cited for retail theft, banned from White’s Markets

LYNDONVILLE — A local woman has been cited for retail theft and trespassed from White’s Markets following an investigation by the Lyndonville Police Department.

Brooke Hornbeck-Fielder, 30, of Berlin, was identified as the accused after a complaint was lodged with the police over an alleged theft at the 128 Main Street market.

The incident was reported on June 27 at 9:39 a.m.

Initially, the police sought to speak with two individuals regarding the retail theft, but later determined that the other person, a female in gray pictured on the right side of surveillance footage, did not leave the store with any stolen merchandise.

Hornbeck-Fielder has been ordered to appear before the Caledonia Superior Court for arraignment on Sept. 16 at 8:30 a.m. The Lyndonville Police Department, under the lead of Officer Gerrish, is handling the ongoing investigation.
