PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island State Police arrested a Providence man Monday on multiple firearms charges and driving without a license.
Aaron Pellicano, 25, of 933 Douglas Avenue, was taken into custody at 6 p.m. following a joint investigation by the Lincoln Woods Barracks and Providence Police Department.
Pellicano faces charges of carrying a pistol without a license or permit, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, conspiracy to commit a felony, and a fourth or subsequent offense of driving without a license.
He was held overnight at the Providence Police Department pending arraignment Tuesday morning in Sixth District Court.
The arrest stemmed from an investigation by the Lincoln Woods Barracks.
Providence police assisted in locating Pellicano.
