Man arrested for assaulting health care provider in Exeter, RI

EXETER — Troopers arrested a 25-year-old man Tuesday after he allegedly assaulted a health care provider in Exeter.

Paul A. Depina Rodenas of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, was taken into custody at 5:19 p.m. following a disturbance at a Main Street location, according to Rhode Island State Police officials.

The incident occurred at 251 Main Street, where responders from the Hope Valley Barracks were called to the scene.

After the arrest, Rodenas was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, where he was processed.

Following his arraignment by a Justice of the Peace, Rodenas was released with a date set for re-arraignment in the Fourth District Court.
