SANBORNTON — Police are seeking information about a hit-and-run accident that occurred Tuesday at the intersection of Sanborn Road and Gulf Road.
At approximately 2 p.m., a black full-size Chevrolet or GMC pickup truck towing a black landscape trailer struck another vehicle and fled the scene, according to the Sanbornton Police Department.
The suspect vehicle, which may have an extended cab, was last seen speeding on School Street in Tilton, heading toward downtown.
The trailer it was towing contained a zero-turn lawnmower and likely sustained damage on the driver’s side from the collision.
Authorities are asking anyone who witnessed the accident or has information about the suspect vehicle to contact the Sanbornton Police Department at (603) 286-4323.
No information was provided about potential injuries or damage to the struck vehicle.
