Georgetown woman missing since Friday, car sought

GEORGETOWN — An 88-year-old woman from Georgetown has been missing since Friday morning, and authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating her.

Frances Pinney left her home in Georgetown on Oct. 13 without her purse or cellphone, according to the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office.

She was last seen driving a red 2016 Subaru Outback with Maine license plate 543-AVS.

Officials said Pinney has not returned home since her departure Friday morning.

The sheriff’s office is urging anyone with information about Pinney’s whereabouts or who may have seen her vehicle to contact them at 207-443-9711.

No further details about Pinney’s appearance or the circumstances of her disappearance were immediately available.
