FAIR HAVEN — A Fair Haven man was arrested Saturday following a domestic dispute that resulted in injury to a household member, police said.
Marc R. Ruest, 42, was taken into custody and charged with domestic assault after an incident at a residence on North Main Street, according to the Fair Haven Police Department.
Officers responded to a reported domestic disturbance at approximately 8 p.m. Friday.
Upon investigation, police determined Ruest had been involved in a physical altercation with another person living in the home.
Ruest admitted to his role in the incident during questioning, authorities said.
He was lodged at the Marble Valley Correctional Center following his arrest.
The case remains under investigation by Officer Cheri McDermott of the Fair Haven Police Department.
