NEW HAVEN — Police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured early Sunday morning in New Haven.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Whalley Avenue and Sherman Avenue, according to the New Haven Police Department.
Officers responding to the scene found several shell casings in the area.
The victim was transported to a local hospital by private vehicle, police said.
