Missing Plymouth man found deceased after four-day search

PLYMOUTH — The body of a missing 69-year-old Plymouth man was found Saturday afternoon after a four-day search, according to local authorities.

Rodney Riviello, who had been missing since Tuesday, June 17, was discovered deceased outdoors in Plymouth, Police Chief Dana Flynn and Fire Chief Neil Foley said in a joint statement.

An extensive search effort had been underway since Riviello’s disappearance.

“The members of the Plymouth Police Department and Plymouth Fire Department offer their sincere condolences to Mr. Riviello’s family and loved ones,” the statement read.

Both chiefs expressed gratitude to all those who assisted in the search effort throughout the week.

No further information is available at this time, but officials said an update would be provided in the coming days.

Authorities are requesting that the family’s privacy be respected during this difficult time.
