ST. ALBANS — Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks arrested 29-year-old Ashley Shedrick from Sheldon on June 21 during an evening patrol in Taylor Park.
Authorities confirmed that Shedrick had an outstanding Cite and Release warrant for providing false information to a law enforcement officer.
The warrant was based on charges under 13 VSA 1754(a), which categorizes the offense as a misdemeanor for giving false information implicating another person.
Shedrick was served with a flash citation and is scheduled to appear in court on June 24 at 1 p.m. The arrest was conducted without incident.
