ST. ALBANS — A 29-year-old Sheldon woman was arrested in Taylor Park on the evening of June 21 after being found to have an outstanding warrant.
Ashley Shedrick was taken into custody by troopers from the St. Albans Barracks during a routine patrol.
Authorities determined that Shedrick had an in-state Cite and Release warrant for giving false information to a law enforcement officer.
According to the warrant, Shedrick is charged with a misdemeanor under 13 VSA 1754(a), which addresses providing false information to a police officer with the intent to implicate another individual.
Shedrick received a flash citation to appear in court on June 24 at 1 p.m.
The arrest was conducted without incident.
