1 min read

STURBRIDGE — Over 25 storage units were broken into during the early morning hours of June 20 at the Cube Smart Self Storage in Technology Park on Picker Road, according to the Sturbridge Police Department.

Authorities reported that the break-ins occurred between 2 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. The suspects managed to gain entry by cutting the handle mechanisms to which the locks were attached.

While the make of the vehicle is certain, police said they could not determine the year or color of the Nissan Titan involved due to the quality of the surveillance footage.

At this time, the Sturbridge Police have stated that there were at least three suspects involved in the incident, but descriptions of the suspects or their clothing have not been obtained.

Efforts are underway to secure additional photographic evidence, which will be shared with the public once available.

Officer Daniel Hemingway is leading the investigation and is urging anyone with information that might be relevant to come forward.

Tips can be relayed to Officer Hemingway by calling 508-347-2525 ext. 380.
