SPRINGFIELD — Springfield Police Department officers arrested a man late Tuesday night on suspicion of domestic assault following an incident at a local residence.
According to the police report, officers were called to the scene on Prospect Street around 8:08 p.m. on June 19 after receiving reports of a domestic disturbance.
The police investigation identified Joseph Foisy as the alleged assailant.
Foisy was taken into custody at 8:53 p.m. without further incident and transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing.
Following his arrest, Foisy was issued a criminal citation and is scheduled to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court on June 20 to respond to the charge.
