RICHFORD — Vermont State Police arrested a 35-year-old Richford man on charges of 1st Degree Aggravated Domestic Assault following a family dispute at a residence on Thomas St. Ext.
Police responded to the incident at approximately 10:46 a.m. on June 20, where they discovered that Ruben Soto had allegedly assaulted a family member.
Soto, who was also wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for Domestic Assault, was taken into custody.
Following the investigation, authorities charged Soto with 1st Degree Aggregated Domestic Assault.
He was held without bail at the Northwest Correctional Center.

In keeping with their policy, the Vermont State Police have not released the name of the victim involved in the incident.
