WARWICK — Rhode Island State Police arrested a Providence man on an active arrest warrant Tuesday morning after a routine traffic stop on Route 95.
Mark Jennings, born July 3, 1986, of 164 Linwood Avenue, was taken into custody at 10:25 a.m. on charges of larceny over $1,500, a warrant issued by the Warwick Police Department.
The arrest occurred when troopers from the Hope Valley Barracks conducted a motor vehicle stop.
Jennings was transported to the barracks for processing and was later turned over to Warwick Police.
