CHESTERFIELD — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect involved in a hit-and-run incident that took place on June 19 at 10:15 a.m. on North Hinsdale Road.
According to the Chesterfield Police Department, a small white Chevy pickup truck with a chrome toolbox in the bed was involved in the collision and fled the scene, possibly heading towards Hinsdale.
The truck is reported to have sustained front end damage on the driver’s side.
The driver of the truck has been described as a heavy-set male with a beard.
Authorities have not released further details about the incident or the vehicle involved.
Officer Steve Gordon is leading the investigation and urges anyone with any information regarding the hit-and-run to come forward.
